Kids Club

Early Childhood Education aims to bridge the developmental gap suffered by vulnerable children living in poverty. Children with caregivers suffering from trauma and extreme poverty do not benefit from the enriching socialization and play which is vital to their development – leaving them at a disadvantage before even reaching school age.

Our Kids Club, taught by local staff and supported by international volunteers provides early childhood education for children from two to six years old. Taught in a dedicated Kids Club space, classes aim to prepare children socially and academically for entry into the formal school system, which starts at 6 years old in Lebanon. Educational games, activities and songs that help teach new concepts in an entertaining way, but also help them learn how to take turns, communicate constructively and behave in a classroom environment.
