Emergency Response
With Lebanon being prone to both man-made and natural disasters, we coordinate with the Ministry of Social Affairs and UNHCR to provide support in emergency situations. While larger organizations and actors are first responders, our work aims to fill gaps that, for various reasons, are not or cannot be covered by other agencies. Our assistance ranges from food, core relief items, blankets, clothing, setting up child friendly spaces and simply providing clean water. Since 2016 we have responded to 7 settlement fires, 4 floods and two cases of armed clashes.
