Assessments
When we learn of a settlement, community or individual family in need of assistance, either through a referral or our own networks, the first thing that takes place is a field assessment conducted by our aid coordinator. An understanding of the actual needs and level of vulnerability are assessed with the help of our mobile ODK (open data kit) system. Following assessments, we aim to meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable as quickly and efficiently as possible. Cooperating with other agencies and NGOs in the Bekaa, we refer the cases we can to relevant partners, and continue focusing on our main objective: covering the gaps by taking on the cases where no other agencies can assist.
