Case Management

According to household profiling conducted by UNHCR, more than 76% of the Syrian refugees living in the Bekaa Valley are considered highly or severely vulnerable.

In 2016-2017 we met families where the level of need was so high that in-depth attention was required. In those situations, we frequently visited the families to understand their specific needs, working to find sustainable solutions and remove possible barriers. Follow up visits were continued until the most pressing needs were met and the case file could be concluded. The scope of assistance in these cases varied from needed protection to shelter repair, medical assistance, and all kinds of in kind aid.
